Liberty Wines have participated in the International Wine Challenge awards for many years, first receiving one of their business awards in 1997. We are pleased to share that Liberty Wines was shortlisted in five categories and won three awards at the IWC awards ceremony earlier this month: IWC Trade Educator of the Year (for the 8th time), IWC Australia Specialist of the Year (for the 8th time) and IWC Italy Specialist of the Year (for the 22nd time). News | Solar Energy in Basingstoke

In June 2025, after 12 months of work and planning with Insight Energy, we completed the installation of solar panels on the roof of our bonded warehouse in Basingstoke. As a result, 63% of the warehouse’s power now comes from solar energy, with several days reaching 100% during the recent heat waves. Read more about this project online here.

Seghesio is home to some of Sonoma’s oldest vines, with their ‘Home Ranch’ vineyard planted in 1895. Their history is woven into the region itself. As such, you’d be forgiven for thinking that the estate is stuck in the past. You would also be wrong. As our recent trip to Seghesio has proven, they have their sights fixed firmly on the future.
