We believe it is our duty to curb climate change, protect our producers’ vineyards, and safeguard the future of the global wine industry.

Around half of a wine’s carbon footprint comes from packaging and transport. Since 2014, we have focused on cutting these emissions by working with producers to reduce bottle weights and prioritising low-carbon shipping, including pioneering the use of rail in the wine supply chain.

We work hard to reduce our environmental impact across all areas of our business, involving people and teams throughout Liberty Wines.

We are proud of our progress and committed to doing more. Currently, this includes cataloguing producer sustainability data and advancing plans to reduce bottle weights and warehouse packaging.
