Liberty Wines is pleased to be appointed as the exclusive importer in the UK and Ireland for Ferrari Trento, the leading brand for luxury sparkling wine in Italy and a symbol of the ‘Italian art of living’.
Founded in 1902 by Giulio Ferrari and owned by the Lunelli family since 1952, Ferrari Trento is Italy’s most-awarded sparkling wine. They were named ‘Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year’ for the seventh time, and the fourth year in a row, at the 2024 Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships (CSWWC). Winemaker Cyril Brun, from Aÿ in Champagne, joined as chef de cave in June 2023, bringing his vast experience and new perspective to Trento doc sparkling wines.
Based in the foothills of the Dolomites, the winery is today a passionate advocate of mountain winemaking and sustainable viticulture. Ferrari Trento owns 130 hectares of certified organic vineyards. In addition, they buy fruit from 600 families of grape growers who follow their sustainable practice protocol aided by the Ferrari agronomist team. The company’s efforts towards maintaining the environment led them to gaining both ‘Carbon Neutral’ and ‘Biodiversity Friend’ certifications.

All Ferrari wines undergo secondary bottle-fermentation in accordance with the rigorous regulations of Trentodoc and are known for their remarkable finesse. The Ferrari Maximum Blanc de Blancs and Rosé non-vintage wines are the perfect expression of their style and of the elegance of the Trento doc bubbles. The Ferrari Perlé single-vintage wines are selected from the best grapes each year and include the iconic Ferrari Perlé Bianco Riserva and the 100% Pinot Noir Ferrari Perlé Nero Riserva. (The 2015 vintage Ferrari Perlé Nero Riserva in magnum was named World Champion Classic Blanc de Noirs at the 2024 CSWWC.) The Ferrari Riserva Lunelli and Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore are their flagship wines, made from Chardonnay grapes coming from estate-owned vineyards and released only in the best vintages after several years of lees ageing.
